A good way to find a deal on a good car is to call transmission shops and ask if they have any lien sale cars on their lot.

All auto repair shops have space limitations, and customers that don't (can't) pay the bill for repair work. They have to get rid of those red herrings ASAP, and often charge no more than the repair work they did.

If you tap transmission shops, you'll be getting a car with a good trans, paint shops cars with a nice paint job, etc.

Depends on what kind of car you had you could replace it or buy a better car. And I believe yes, you could replace it because Autopac does give great appraise of your older vehicle.

With 5 grand you could buy cars in early 2000's and late 1990's… Depending on the model.

Say you can buy a 2005~06 KiA Rio for about $5000s (Good deal)!
Or you can buy a 1999 Audi A4 for $7000, it all depends on the model and the category of the car, compact, mid-size, full size, van, suv, hybrid etc.

sorry bout your wreck, it ***** replacing a car, but 5k is a good amount of money and it depends on what kind of car you want to replace, just need to look in the right places and shop around, the motor vehicle industry is hurting on sales right now so i am sure you will be able to find a good deal, also try going to an auction and looking there, every time i have gone there so many good deals you just can't pass up
this is a good site, you can search for where car auctions are being held all over, and find the closest one to you
