My car is a 96 Pontiac Grand AM, with 90,000 miles, interior is great and body is nice no dents and four brand new tires and has never been wrecked. But I had to replace the engine and now this engine has a blown head gasket it keeps running hot any and everything that could cause it to run hot has been fixed on this car I have spent over 1200.00 dollars on this I want to get rid of it, the mechanic that head gasket is not severe but…. I dont wont spend anymore money on it everyone wants to buy it but I have no idea how much to sell it for.

If a car has been repaired and is back to normal is it ok to buy one or should you avoid them regardless of what kind of accident they were in?
Seems like as long as a car was repaired…what difference would it make?

I am selling it to a junk dealer. The title is lost and it's just too much trouble to get a title for this wreck of a car. My only concern is that the car is registered in my name and I am worried that if something happens after the car is out of my hands that I will be liable. How should I proceed?
